No. Canny counts every person who posts, votes, or comments as a tracked user and scales every paid plan on that number. The advertised Pro price covers roughly the first 100; on monthly billing it reaches about $349/mo at 500 tracked users and $661/mo at 1,000, with custom quotes past 5,000. sarvaFeed bills admin seats only: Growth is $19 per seat per month with the first seat included, so a 3-admin team pays $57/mo at 100 voters and $57/mo at 100,000. Portal users, voters, and commenters are unlimited and free on every plan, including Free. What moves you up a tier is boards, posts, and AI credits: 3 boards and 5,000 posts on Starter, 5 boards and 25,000 posts on Growth, 20 boards and 100,000 posts on Scale.

Is sarvaFeed actually cheaper than Canny?

Usually yes, and here is where it stops being true. Canny Pro is $79/month billed yearly ($98.75 monthly) for about 100 tracked users, and Canny does not charge for admins at all. sarvaFeed Growth is $19 per admin seat per month ($190 per seat for a full year), so a 3-admin team is $57/mo and a 5-admin team $95/mo. Even on a quiet board at Canny’s entry volume we come in lower up to four admins ($76/mo against $79), and at five seats Canny’s free admins put them ahead. The audience is what settles it: Canny reprices as tracked users grow, roughly $349/mo at 500 and $661/mo at 1,000, while that 3-admin sarvaFeed workspace stays at $57 no matter how loud the board gets. Canny’s Core tier does start at $19/mo, though it reprices with tracked users too; our Starter plan is $9 per seat per month if you need less, which is $27/mo for three admins. Where Canny is genuinely ahead: Autopilot AI is included even on its Free tier, and its Business tier ships SSO and SOC 2 Type II today, neither of which we have. Audit logs and custom roles go the other way, on Growth for us and Business custom pricing on Canny.

Canny now includes AI on every plan. Does sarvaFeed?

sarvaFeed bundles AI-assisted dedup and smart categorization from the Starter plan, with a monthly credit allowance included in the price: 100 credits on Starter, 500 on Growth, 2,000 on Scale. Those credits come with the plan, not with each seat. Duplicate-post detection runs on every plan, including Free. Canny’s 2026 “Autopilot AI” (dedup, feedback discovery, smart replies) is included on every plan including Free. On AI specifically, both tools are roughly comparable once you’re paying. Canny just got there first on the Free tier.

Can I import my existing Canny data?

Yes. We support CSV import for posts, votes, and statuses, and our team will run a guided migration with comments and voters at no extra charge on Growth and above.

Will my custom domain still work after switching?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Custom domains are included on Growth ($19 per admin seat per month) and Scale. Point a CNAME at our servers and we handle TLS automatically. Canny includes custom domains on Core ($19/mo) and up.

Do I get SSO, audit logs, and SOC 2?

Partly, and the split is worth spelling out. Audit logs and custom admin roles are included on sarvaFeed Growth ($19 per admin seat per month); Canny keeps both behind Business custom pricing. Two go against us. SSO is on our roadmap and lands on Scale when it ships, so it is on no sarvaFeed plan today, and we hold no SOC 2 certification at all, while Canny Business has SOC 2 Type II now. If SAML or an audit report is a requirement, Canny can do it and we cannot. The public REST API, by contrast, is on every paid sarvaFeed plan from Starter ($9 per seat per month) up; Canny gates it to Pro.
